What curriculum do you use?

We use the Puppy Culture and Badass Breeder programs. We love both of these programs and feel using them sets our puppies up to be more resilient, receptive to training, and great companions.

Are Bernedoodles AKC registerable?

No, they are not, because the AKC doesn't recognize designer breeds. Still, we are hopeful they may be recognized by the major kennel clubs soon.

How do I get my puppy?

We offer a wide variety of options for puppy pickup or transport. You can pick up at our home, we can meet you at the airport, we have trustworthy flight nannies we work with, or can help set up ground transport. We are always willing to help find a safe transport option for your puppy and have puppies all over the US.

What do you feed your puppies?

We feed our dogs Victor High Pro Plus. We have used several different brands, but this is one we use the most.

What are Bernedoodles?

A Bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. There are different generations. We breed F1 (half Bernese and half Poodle), F1b (a F1 bred with a poodle), and Multigen (has 2 parents past the F2 generation). Bernedoodles are friendly, social, playful, loyal, goofy, and intelligent. They can be stubborn but are eager to please and love to be right next to their humans.

What are Irishdoodles?

An Irishdoodle is a cross between an Irish Setter and a Poodle. Puppies are low to non-shedding, with a friendly, affectionate, and social personality. They are also intelligent and eager to please.

How often should you bathe your Bernedoodle?

We recommend a bath about every 6-8 weeks, a full groom every 2-3 months, and daily brushing.

Do Bernedoodles bark?

Yes, they do. Dogs are meant to bark, but because of their temperament they do not tend to be excessive barkers and the behavior can usually be curbed with proper training.

Are Bernedoodles
high maintenance?

Yes, they are. To keep their coat from tangling and matting, they need to be brushed regularly Failing to do this results in skin irritation and other issues. They need to be groomed fully every 2-3 months as well. Make sure when deciding to get a Bernedoodle that you have enough time and a budget for their grooming.

Do Bernedoodles
like to swim?

Poodles are a water dog, so usually our Bernedoodles do enjoy swimming. Keep in mind, each pup is different and not all of them enjoy swimming. We enjoy swimming, so we start positive water exposure activities at a young age to encourage our puppies to enjoy swimming and bathing.
